" Castello di Montegiove Country House, eleganza per ogni occasione "
Castello Montegiove is a prestigious and refined Country House located in the outskirts of Fano on the first slopes of its namesake hill from which one can enjoy views of the sea, the city, and the surrounding hills. Better known to fellow citizens as Villa Hagemann, the complex, built between the end of '800 and the beginning of '900 in neo-Gothic style, is made unique by the impressive octagonal, crenellated, barbican which towers over it and overlooks the centuries-old trees.
A vast park, once a hunting reserve, the golf course and blooming gardens surround this charming residence, originally intended as a summer resort, which included two other residential areas (the caretaker's house and the building which housed the service areas such as the stables, warehouses, greenhouses, etc.), now harmoniously joined to the main building by a porch and a small square.
In the refined and evocative ambience of the palace, with its warm late-nineteenth-century atmosphere, are harmoniously introduced ten frescoed rooms, furnished with period furniture and furnishings of great value, together with the most modern conveniences such as satellite television, wi-fi connection, mini bar, independent air conditioning/heating, electronic safe, etc.
In the vicinity of the park and overlooking the forest, the portico residences guarantee greater independence and a direct contact with nature, thereby offering a more informal hospitality, within spaces that nonetheless preserve the sober elegance of the past thanks to the original ceilings with exposed wooden beams, floors in terracotta tiles, and furniture (beds, chandeliers, etc.) in wrought iron and ceramics made by skilled craftsmen.
